Wellness care
A lot of people wait until something hurts before they come in. The desk, the drive, and the job do not stop when the pain does.
Precision Chiropractic ATX sees people from Oak Hill, Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Lakeway, Wimberley, and Austin who would rather stay ahead of that. Dr. Eberle is a CBP-Trained Doctor of Chiropractic. Care looks at structure and function together, and it starts with an exam.
Staying ahead of the load
Once an acute problem has calmed down, the strain that produced it is usually still there. This is a guide to what wellness care is for. A visit is how we tell what applies to you.
After the original problem settles
The work that keeps you moving well is not the same work that got you out of pain. The same job, the same desk, and the same miles are still there. Wellness care is periodic visits chosen to stay ahead of that, rather than to chase a new complaint.
A pace that fits
How often you come in is a clinical judgment. We set a pace from the exam and how you respond, and we reassess as we go. Some people come in on a spaced-out rhythm. Others come a few times a year when things start to tighten up. The decision stays yours.
Who tends to value it
People with physically demanding work or long hours at a desk. Active people who want to keep training. Anyone whose old problem creeps back when they let things slide. Most of them came in with a problem, got it settled, and would rather not go through it a second time.
What it is not
Wellness care is not a promise that you will not get sick, and it is not a substitute for your other doctors. It is chiropractic care, on a pace that fits, aimed at how the spine is holding up. Kids and pregnancy are covered with the rest of family care, on the kids page and the pregnancy page.

An exam before any care
A first visit starts with an exam, so we can see what is going on before any care. We take objective measures of structure and function, and we use on-site X-rays only when they help us see that structure. From there we recommend a pace, and you decide.
Peter Lenhart, Director of Rehab, helps patients improve structure and function with specialized exercises and angular tractions. More on the approach is on the CBP page.
Questions about wellness care
What is wellness care?
Wellness care is ongoing chiropractic care after the original problem has settled, for people who would rather keep moving well than wait for the next flare-up. The pace comes from the exam. The decision stays yours.
How often do people come in?
It depends on the exam and how you respond. Some people come in on a spaced-out rhythm. Others come a few times a year when things start to tighten up. We reassess as we go and change the pace when it should change.
